Cosmetic Dentistry can help you get the smile you've always wanted. It can be as simple as whitening your teeth with Zoom Whitening or having more comprehensive solutions such as Braces, Lumineers, or Porcelain Crowns performed.
Whitening alone can make a huge difference!
As time goes by, even with good hygiene efforts, our teeth darken. Coffee, tea, red wine, etc. all impact tooth color. Tooth color can change enough over time that fillings and crowns which were done to match ten years ago, can look like they were made for someone else!
Our options for whitening include: Professional Strength Crest White Strips, Custom take home bleaching products, and in office Zoom Whitening. For someone with minimal staining and time to achieve the whitening they want, or for someone looking for a minor touch up, Professional Strength Crest White Strips can work well.
For the adult who has darkening and staining where their teeth are multiple shades darker than the average shade (Yes, there is one!) at home whitening can be the answer. Custom trays are made from impressions of your teeth. These trays will fit your teeth accurately enough that the trays will stay in place as you go about you daily routine. You’ll fill them with either Discus Dental Day White or Night White depending on when you want to do your whitening. For many busy adults, who need results fast, the best choice can be in office Zoom Whitening. It jump starts the whitening process with its LED light activated whitening solution. The in office Zoom Whitening also includes take home trays for continued whitening and touch-ups.
In any situation where fillings, crowns, or Lumineers/veneers are going to be done on front teeth or on any teeth that show while you talk or smile, whitening should be considered before those procedures are started. The materials used in those procedures do not respond to the whitening solution. Whitening should be completed before placing porcelain or composite restorations to ensure that the restorations are the color you want them to be.
Lumineers can give you that "Hollywood Smile"
If you are looking for a major change in your smile and your teeth are cavity free, then Lumineers or conventional veneers may be the treatment of choice. We have over 10 years’ of great experience with Lumineers. Lumineers can be used to create straighter, well shaped, whiter appearing teeth. We tell our patients that Lumineers can give them that “Hollywood smile”. Visit the Lumineers website for more information by clicking on the link: Lumineers
New metal free crowns look great!
If there are large failing existing fillings, large cavities, slightly crooked teeth, or broken and chipped tooth edges then all porcelain crowns may be the best option to restore your smile. They can also correct both shape and color and make the teeth stronger! Our dental lab can make "mock-up" models of what can be done for your smile with full coverage crowns. They can also create custom shades to ensure that the crowns will match your other teeth as closely as possible.
If your teeth are very crowded, crooked, overlapping, or sticking out, then braces may be the solution for you. We have some great information about orthodontics in our Braces section.
